Seven of Swords

The Seven of Swords is a strong indicator that something is wrong, that someone is choosing the path of trickery. The energy is one of sneakiness. In our card we see a man who has stolen valuable swords and is running away with them. From the Sufi perspective, he has fallen prey to his lowest self, the animalistic part of the ego called Nafs Al Ammara, which is basic self-gratification irrespective of the cost to others. When this card appears for you, please remember you are not being asked to point fingers at others but to protect yourself and examine your own choices.
